4.0 Learning Hub
You've got options! 4.0 Movement Studios offers a safe space for students to work on their virtual learning plans with help from certified teachers, while also providing fun dance breaks, fitness classes, and an introduction to dance. Our hub is limited to 20 students, with enrollment accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Our Daily Schedule
We offer two flexible schedules for families to choose and follow!
Smart Girls Section I is for full time participants. It includes morning yoga in addition to a dance class after completing their distance learning assignments. Throughout the day students will take 15 minute dance breaks to prevent computer fatigue. *Dance classes vary from week to week and include ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, and majorette.
Smart Girls Section II is for part time participants. These participants attend Cohort A (Tues./Wed.) or Cohort B (Thurs./Fri.) with an option for "Phone a Teacher" support on days the learner is not attending the hub. Parents must commit to at least 1 month at a time.

What does my child need?
​
Each day your child should bring their electronic device, mask, water bottle, lunch, and snack. Our snack shack will be open during the day to purchase snacks (including Lunchables) and drinks. Families can add money to their child's snack account for lunch and snack through their parent portal.
Participants are expected to wear any fitness attire which allows for open movement (leggings, sweats, yoga pants, t-shirts, tanks, etc.). Appropriate dance shoes are highly recommended but not required and can be purchased through the parent portal.
So...what's the cost?
The cost to attend the Smart Girls Virtual Learning Hub is $40 per day ($10 discount per child for siblings). Aftercare is provided from
3:00- 5:00 for an additional $20 per day.
While refunds are not available, a credit can be issued to your account if your child resumes to in-person classes at their attended school OR if there has been an COVID-19 exposure in your household. Credits can be used for 4.0 dance classes, intensives, privates, or camps.

Wait a Minute! Is it Safe?

4.0 Movement is a More Than Just Great Dancing Affiliated Safer Studio. Furthermore, we aren't just baby sitters. We have academic support from certified teachers! We are serious about academics in addition to the safety and comfort of your child. Check out our safety procedures below.

Class sizes and cohorts limited to 10 students, with only 20 students total in the hub.

Temperature checks for all participants.

Masks are required of all team members.

Students are able to choose flexible seating options throughout the studio for their studies (bean bags, couch, chairs, bouncy seats, stools, yoga balls, etc.) that are at least 6 ft away from their peers.

Students must BRING A MASK and wear it when they are within 6ft of their peers or an adult.

Students showing any symptoms of COVID-19 may only attend the hub virtually after 3 days of being symptom free (without use of medication), 14 days have passed since the symptoms first appeared, AND the student has been released by their doctor to return.

Frequent cleanings and sanitation every 2 hours

If we have an exposure to COVID-19 all parents are notified while maintaining confidentiality of the student. Online learning opportunities will also be made available for families not comfortable sending their participant(s) to the hub.

Dance families are required to notify the studio if their child has a confirmed case of COVID-19 or if they have come in contact with someone who has tested positive to COVID-19.

Parents are required to keep their child home if they are sick and are encouraged to take advantage of our "Phone a Teacher" program to receive online support.
